Custom web development · United States
(01) The short answer
Yes. Cortexley builds custom websites, web applications and Shopify stores for US businesses, with a fixed price agreed before work starts.
We work from Pakistan, nine to ten hours ahead of US Eastern time and twelve to thirteen ahead of Pacific. Projects run mostly in writing: what you ask for during your day is picked up during ours, progress lands on a staging link you can open at any time, and we agree a regular call slot that works for both sides.
(02) Built for the market
Website accessibility claims under the Americans with Disabilities Act are common, and the Department of Justice points to WCAG as the benchmark. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA by default, which also makes the site easier for everyone to use.
California's CCPA and CPRA, and similar laws in a growing list of states, give visitors the right to know what is collected and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We set up tracking and forms so honoring an opt-out is a setting, not a rebuild.
US sales tax depends on where the buyer is. On Shopify and Stripe we use automated tax calculation (Shopify Tax or Stripe Tax) instead of hand-maintained rate tables that drift out of date.
US English, dollar pricing, month-first dates, imperial units where your customers expect them, and address and ZIP code validation in forms and checkout.

(04) Where we work
Projects run remotely, so your city doesn't change the process, the price or the timeline. East Coast clients get the closest overlap with our working day; West Coast clients usually work with us mostly in writing, with calls booked at a time that suits both sides.

Fixed prices start at about $1,500 for a business website, $2,500 for a Shopify store, $6,500 for a web application and $7,500 for custom software such as a POS or CRM. We price in pounds sterling, so dollar figures are approximate, and hosting and platform fees are extra.
Pakistan is nine to ten hours ahead of US Eastern time and twelve to thirteen ahead of Pacific. Most of the project runs in writing, with a staging link you can open any time, and we agree a regular call slot that suits both time zones.
Treat it like hiring any agency. Get a written scope and fixed price, insist on a staging link you can check at any time, keep the domain, hosting, Shopify and code repository in your company's name, and speak to the people who will actually build the product.
We build to WCAG 2.2 AA, the standard US courts and the Department of Justice look to. No agency can promise a site will never face a claim, but a site built to WCAG is far better placed than one that is not, and it works better for every visitor.
Yes. Custom sites and apps can connect to your CRM, payment provider, accounting software and email platform through their APIs, so leads, orders and customers flow into the systems your team already works in.
